CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma
What is CIPS Level 6?
CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply is ideal for those currently working in higher professional roles. This is the last level of CIPS qualifications for those working towards MCIPS status. The course enables the development and implementation of procurement and supply chain strategies and plans that can have a fundamental impact on organisation performance.
Once you have successfully completed your Professional Diploma and completed 3 years’ experience in a position of responsibility you will be awarded MCIPS status. The average time to complete is from 10 to 12 months.
What are the CIPS Level 6 entry requirements?
Successful completion of CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
How is CIPS Level 6 assessed?
Your exams will be computer-based examinations and will be taken at either a CIPS online regional examination centre or by a remote exam at a location of your choice. The 6 credit modules are assessed via a 1.5 hour Objective Response exam and the 12 credit modules are assessed via 3 hour Constructed Response (written) exams.
A constructed response (CR) requires you to create an essay or case study.
An objective response (OR) is a multiple choice format.
