Meet Tutor Barry Russell

Barry Russell

Barry’s distinguished & noteworthy Procurement & CIPS career has been spent working overseeing privatisation, cultural and change strategies, as well as the regeneration of the coal, steel, automotive, manufacturing and textiles industries. Barry is a member of both the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) and the Institute for Learning (IFL), as well as being a UKAS Qualified Mechanical Technician.

Tim Young

FCIPS Chartered

Tim is a Regional Procurement Manager for Lovell, part of Morgan Sindall Group, one of the UK’s biggest construction companies. Tim is actively involved with CIPS (having previously been a member of CIPS congress) and often volunteers at school career events, to promote the industry. Having Autism, Tim is a huge advocate for raising awareness of autism in the workplace and has written many noteworthy articles for bodies and organisations around this subject.

Emma Williams

With over 20 years of extensive experience in marketing and procurement, Emma has developed a profound understanding of market strategies and operational efficiency.
Emma spent several years overseeing International Partnerships at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. Emma is now dedicated to sharing her knowledge and experience with students and is passionate about fostering the next generation of procurement professionals.

Adam Smith

Adam has over 25 years’ experience in procurement, commercial, and general management roles. The majority of his career has been spent in the engineering and manufacturing sectors, including a role as Procurement Director for an aerospace business that supplied blue chip clients such as Boeing, Airbus, and Rolls-Royce.

Alfie Warwick

MCIPS qualified Chartered Procurement professional. Alfie is a proactive procurement professional with vast experience in public and private sectors across numerous industries (healthcare, FMCG, manufacturing and energy). Alfie is skilled in stakeholder engagement, principled negotiation, TCO analysis and sustainable procurement. Alfie also holds a relevant qualification in further education (Level 3 PTLLS).

Rick Anstis

FCIPS Chartered

Rick is a highly qualified procurement expert, acknowledged as an international authority on procurement, contracts, and contract management. Previous Senior Lecturer / Director of Procurement Programmes for the UK National School of Government. A highly experienced educational assessor. Rick is also creator and assessor for CIPS examinations, assignments, and assessments.
