Over the last 4 years I’ve completed my CIPS Level 4, 5 and 6 with Chamber Business Training, all classroom-based and delivered virtually, and wanted to share my brilliant experience.

I fitted the courses around full-time work, and the evening sessions made it really manageable. I actually really enjoyed the classroom learning, even though it was virtual, the sessions were engaging, organised, and the resources were genuinely useful all the way through.

Throughout my 3 years my tutor was amazing. She made the hard topics easier to understand, kept the sessions interesting by getting everyone involved and was always so supportive if anyone was struggling or needed extra help. She played a big part in building my confidence at the start of my CIPS journey.

Completing Levels 4, 5 and 6 has been a big commitment, but it’s been a really positive journey overall and something I’m really proud of.

We have used CIPS Business Training for 2 cohorts of CIPS students. As the company’s L&D Manager, I have found Rebecca and Christine to be extremely helpful, approachable and always responsive. I would definitely recommend them.

I am currently a Level 6 student studying towards my MCIPS status, and the service and support I have received from the whole CIPS team, right through from Level 4, has been exemplary. From the start of the course back in Sept 2019, I have been made to feel like nothing is too much trouble, and both the tutors and ops teams are always on hand to support, guide or answer any questions, at any time of day.

I was extremely apprehensive of continuing my studies when the pandemic hit, as life became difficult, work was challenging, and all classes and contact quickly moved online, but I have to say this has been a seamless, positive experience, and the continued support, resources and classes have been nothing short of impeccable.

Thank you and well done to all the team. Let’s just say, the clue is in their title for a reason – Centre of Excellence, and I would highly recommend their services.

I would highly recommend Chamber Business Training to complete your CIPS qualifications. They are very friendly and helpful, with a wealth of experience to help you learn and complete your qualifications.

I did the weekend courses in London (pre and mid pandemic). The weekend classes were held in a central location and the classes were quite small, which meant you got a lot of engagement with the course leader. During the pandemic these moved online and Chamber did everything they could to support this and did an absolutely great job. I don’t think I would have done as well as I did without them.

They have also built a great online portal with a lot of knowledge available to you, as well as past papers that are really useful. Barry Russel was the tutor and he was absolutely fantastic – very engaging, and focused on getting you to understand the theory, processes and how to apply them, not just passing exams. I would definitely do any further CIPS courses through them.

The Chamber have been a huge help in allowing me to complete my Level 3 & 4 CIPS qualifications, and I’m looking forward to continuing my learning throughout the next levels. The staff are great and really friendly, and the tutors are brilliant at making sure you’re prepared for your exams.

Currently studying my Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply at the Chamber of Commerce in Clayton-le-Moors. Great communication by Beth, Bex, Robson and the team to sort and invigilate exams. Jack, my tutor, is incredibly helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to assist with learning or questions, to ensure you enjoy the course as well as succeed. All round, a really well run business and I’m looking forward to completing my studies.

I have studied with them throughout Levels 4, 5 and 6 and the team has been really helpful, especially Beth, who has really helped me to get a schedule together that worked for me. The tutors I had have been great, offering insight into the real world as well as teaching the academic models and theory.

The Chamber at East Lancs offered me this opportunity and I would encourage anybody wishing to study for a CIPS qualification not to hesitate to enrol with the organisation. I cannot emphasise enough how much I have enjoyed the experience, and how positively it has impacted me over the last 3 years, both in a professional and personal capacity.

From the initial introduction, Emma put time in with me prior to any official sessions to introduce herself, set the scene and share her style of training, which instantly gave me confidence moving forward. During the formal training sessions Emma took time to ensure our understanding by challenging our learning, and gave us the opportunity to take any topics further where we needed clarification.

Emma also ensured she knew me as a person. She knew my learning style and quickly adapted to it to ensure I got the most out of the sessions. The good luck emails prior to exams also made me feel valued, and that Emma had a real investment in me as a person and not just ‘another’ candidate.

I started my CIPS Level 3 when I had only just moved over from production into procurement, so I had very little experience and knowledge. From what I have learnt over the course from my tutor and fellow students, I have been able to confidently learn and take on more tasks and roles faster than anticipated. I start Level 4 shortly and I aim to progress to Level 6 with Chamber. The books and classes are amazing – you learn a lot to push your career.

Enrolled onto CIPS Level 4 recently. My tutor Jack is great and always happy to support. Also, Beth is a great contact at Chamber Business Training and always gets back to any queries I have in a very timely fashion, which is always appreciated. Fantastic service. Chamber Business Training have been an amazing support function from start to finish. John is my tutor and is super helpful with lessons and will always be at the end of the phone to support. I took on CIPS during COVID, which might have proven difficult, but it’s actually been very smooth – online lessons and easy access to John and Bex.

Bex from Chamber is super. I fell ill twice during COVID and I couldn’t have asked for better support. They ensured my exams were postponed and I had the support there to help me. Thanks Bex and John, appreciate it.

Rebecca is extremely friendly and helpful in coordinating the courses, exams etc. Jack, my tutor, is always really helpful too. CBT also provide course summaries and other supporting course information that I find really helpful when it comes to revising. It’s a great place to distance learn.

My experience with Chamber Business Training throughout my CIPS qualification was extremely positive. The tutors were professional, approachable, and highly experienced in procurement. I would recommend Chamber Business Training in a heartbeat for CIPS studies. The support from Bethany, Rob and Bex has always been prompt and they have all supported where possible at all times.

In terms of the teaching, Laura Scarfe is by far the best tutor I have ever had. I joined her classes during COVID-19, and she is welcoming and ensures you feel supported throughout all modules no matter the day or time. She responded to any queries over phone and message within 24 hours and even supported on weekends.

Her classes were always extremely engaging and varied in style, and she ensured everybody was involved in sharing knowledge and learning the topics. She carried out interactive quizzes with prizes which motivated students to listen, and included a variety of group and solo activities both during and outside of classes. This made distance learning an enjoyable experience as it didn’t feel much different to being in a classroom environment. I don’t think I would have passed my Level 6 without Laura’s support.

Chamber Business Training offer a very supportive service and are a great resource for CIPS training and exams. Robson is a great contact to have and helps support my learning by sending an array of helpful tips and links to practice exams. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to take your CIPS exams.

Going through exams is stressful anyway, not to mention COVID being thrown into the mix. I lost my job due to redundancy and cutbacks, then I failed the last exam of my CIPS, and I found myself at a loss as I couldn’t afford the resit.

After liaising with Christine, she managed to work out a plan – she was actually on annual leave at the time, but continued to contact my previous employer and arranged for the payment of my exam to be covered so I could complete the course. I am happy to say I have finally passed my Level 3! Without Christine’s compassion and kindness I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this.
